JAMB, NUC to Intervene in Universities’ Admission Process

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the National Universities Commission (NUC) will soon be intervening in the admission process of Nigerian universities. This move comes as a result of the many irregularities that have been reported, including the widespread use of unqualified applicants to gain admission into universities.

It’s been a long time coming, and we’re glad to see that these two organizations are finally taking action. We know that this will not only improve the quality of Nigerian universities, but it will also ensure that only qualified students are given the opportunity to attend these institutions.

JAMB and NUC to Intervene in Universities’ Admission Process

We hope that you will join us in supporting this effort as it unfolds.

Jamb Caps

So, you’ve decided to go to university. Congratulations! But before you can start packing your bags, there are a few things you need to know.

One of those things is the caps that Jamb has put in place. As of right now, universities can only admit a certain number of students from each faculty. And that’s why it’s important to make sure you choose the right course and the right university.

If you don’t meet the requirements for the course you want to study, don’t worry. Jamb and the NUC are going to be stepping in to make sure things run smoothly. They’ll be making sure that universities stick to their admission caps and don’t admit students illegally. So make sure you’re familiar with the rules and regulations before you apply.

Nuc

NUC has threatened to sanction universities that indulged in irregular admission process.

This is after JAMB released the admission list, which had some universities with no names of admitted candidates. The body said it would investigate and get to the root of the matter.

It’s unclear at this point what form of sanction NUC will impose on these universities, but it’s definitely not going to be a good thing. It’s important that schools adhere to the set rules and regulations when it comes to admitting students, otherwise, chaos will ensue.

Admission List

Admission lists in universities across the country have been in the news lately, and it’s not for good reasons. Many schools are accused of irregularities in their admission processes, including accepting students who don’t meet the required criteria.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the National Universities Commission (NUC) have had enough, and they’re stepping in to take action. JAMB has announced that it will sanction any university that doesn’t comply with its guidelines, while the NUC is threatening to withdraw accreditation from schools that engage in wrongful admission practices.

It’s about time something was done about this mess. Students who meet the requirements should be given priority, and those who don’t should be denied admission.

School Admission

As the admission process for Nigerian universities is underway, JAMB and NUC are set to sanction universities that failed to comply with the guidelines. This was disclosed by JAMB’s Registrar, Is-haq Oloyede.

According to Mr. Oloyede, a total of 1,792,104 candidates applied for admission into tertiary institutions in Nigeria of which 1,393,812 were admitted. He added that many universities admitted more candidates than their carrying capacity.

In order to sanitize the admission process, JAMB and NUC will now jointly intervene in the admission of students into universities. This will include the withdrawal of admission of candidates admitted in excess of the carrying capacity of their respective schools.

Universities

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that it will be sanctioning universities that engage in irregular admission processes. This was disclosed by the board’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

According to Benjamin, JAMB will be releasing a list of universities that will be sanctioned in the next few days. This move comes after the board received numerous complaints from parents and candidates about the way universities were admitting students.

He also said that the National Universities Commission (NUC) would be coming in to help with the admission process. This is a welcome development, as it will help to ensure that all candidates are given a fair chance to gain admission into their chosen universities.

Regular Admission

JAMB and NUC have had it with the irregularities in the university admission process. So they’ve decided to step in and do something about it.

Starting next year, universities that don’t adhere to the set guidelines for admission will be sanctioned. This means that they’ll lose their accreditation, which in turn will affect the number of students they can admit.

It’s about time something was done to curb these practices. Many students have been denied admission because of irregularities in the process, while others have been admitted to universities that they’re not even qualified for. This is unfair to both the students and the universities.

JAMB and NUC are hoping that this measure will help to bring some order to the admission process and ensure that everyone plays by the rules.

Conclusion

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the National Universities Commission (NUC) are stepping in to sanction universities that have been admitting students irregularly.

This is good news for those who have been waiting to hear about their admission status. JAMB and NUC will now be working together to monitor universities’ admission process and ensure that it is done fairly and in accordance with the rules.

This is a welcome development, and we hope that it will help to restore confidence in the system. Keep an eye out for updates, and we will keep you posted on the latest news.
