Following the complaints by many prospective JAMB candidates for the 2023 UTME over the inability to access JAMB ePIN, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has taking a step to reduce the stress of purchasing the ePIN by allowing candidates to pay for the JAMB ePIN using the Remita and interswitch platform from the comfort of their homes without having to go to the banks

This was contained in a statement released by the board’s Head of Media, Dr Fabian.

According to him the most of the candidates had to queue as early as 2 -3am in some cases just to get the JAMB ePINs, This is cumbersome and frustrating. Sometimes they wait the whole day without still getting the JAMB ePIN due to inability of JAMB officials to access the site. Even those that succeed getting the JAMB ePIN are faced with registering at the overcrowded registration centres.

All this has made the board to introduce payments via the Remita and interstice platform.

How To Pay And Get Your JAMB ePIN online using Remita

Visit http://jamb.org.ng/eFacility/Login
Login using your email address and password
Click on the “Sales of form” at the left hand side of the page and select UTME Examination.”
On the page that opens, under payment options, select “Remita payment” and follow the instructions to complete your payment process.

How To Pay And Get Your JAMB ePIN online using Interswitch

Step 1: Visit http://jamb.org.ng/eFacility/Login

Step 2: Click on the “Sales of form” at the left hand side of the page and select UTME Examination.”

Step 3: On the page that opens, choose “Interswitch payment” under Payment Options;

Step 4: Click ‘Pay Online Now’ to pay immediately on the JAMB website and get ePIN (the PIN will also be sent to the candidate’s mail)

Step 5: Click ‘Quick Teller/Bank Branch Payment’ to get a Transaction ID which can be used for payment on quicketeller.com, Quick teller App, at any Quick teller Paypoint Agent Location listed on the Jamb website, or by simply dialling 32204295701*Amount# to get the ePIN (the PIN will also be sent to the candidate’s mail).

Step 4: Go to the registered JAMB CBT centre with ePIN to complete registration, and biometrics, and pick up your booklets.
