How to Check Your SLU Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

Congratulations on getting admission into your chosen university! The next step is to check your admission status on the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board’s Central Admission Processing System, or CAPS. Here’s how:

How to Check Your SLU Admission Status on JAMB CAPS, EXPOCODED.COM

  1. Go to the JAMB website: https://jamb.org.ng/
  2. Click on “Check Admission Status

  3. Enter your UTME Registration Number and Date of Birth

  4. Click on “Check Status”

  5. You will be redirected to the CAPS website:  jamb.gov.ng/efacility/.

  6. Enter your email address and password (the one you used to create your JAMB profile)

  7. Click on “Login”

  8. Your admission status will be displayed on the main page

Log Into Your JAMB CAPS Account

Ready to find out if you’ve been admitted into Sule Lamido University? Follow these steps:

 

  1. Log into your JAMB CAPS account Or https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility/.
  2. Click on the “Admissions” tab

  3. Select “Sule Lamido University” from the list of schools

  4. Click on “Check Admission Status”

  5. Enter your JAMB registration number and password

  6. Click on “Submit”

 

If your name appears on the list, congratulations! You’ve been admitted into SLU. If not, don’t worry—there’s still time to appeal your admission decision.

After clicking on the “Admission Status” tab, you will be taken to a new page. On this page, you will see the list of all the schools you have applied to. Scroll down to find Sule Lamido University (SLU) and click on it. You will then see a list of all the programs you have applied for at SLU.

HOW TO CHECK SLU ADMISSION LIST STAGE TWO:

Step 1:    log on to SLU application portal https://slu.edu.ng/
Step 2:    Click “Start Fresh Application”
Step 3:    Select ICE as application type, then provide your Surname, First Name, Middle Name, JAMB Registration Number, Mobile Phone Number and E-mail Address.
Step 4:    Click the “Pay now” to pay online, the processing fee OR Print the payment advice with Remita Number to make payment at any Bank within the Sule Lamido University.
Step 5:    Return to the application portal https://slu.edu.ng/ after payment, click “continue application” enter your payment reference number and your surname in lower case as password.
Step 6:    Complete all required details and upload necessary documents.
Step 7:    Complete the application form, submit online and print two copies. (Candidates can save their application form for later editing)

Alright, so you’ve checked your JAMB CAPS and you’re wondering whether or not you’ve been admitted into SLU. What do you do next?

 

Simple—you head to the SLU website and check your admission status. Just enter your name and JAMB registration number, and the website will tell you whether or not you’ve been offered a place at the university.

 

If you haven’t been offered a place, don’t worry! You can still reapply through JAMB. And if you have been offered a place, don’t forget to accept it!

If You Have Been Offered Admission, Click on “Accept Admission”

If you have been offered admission into the Sule Lamido University (SLU), congratulations! You will need to accept your admission offer on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
